The Dubai Balloon, a tethered helium balloon, provides stunning 300-meter-high views of Dubai's shoreline and skyline. Located at the Aquaventure Waterpark on Palm Jumeirah's outer crescent, it is the city's only balloon ride.
Your flight, lasting 10 to 20 minutes depending on your package, offers an unparalleled perspective of the Palm's expanse. On clear days, you can even see Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa. - Bring Comfortable, casual clothing is recommended. Bring a jacket as it might be cooler once the balloon reaches its maximum height, especially at night.
- It is recommended to avoid wearing heels.
- The experience is accessible for wheelchairs and baby strollers. Please speak to a Ground Crew member for assistance loading and unloading the balloon gondola.
- The wheelchair/stroller must have a braking/locking system to prevent unsecured movement in flight. This function will be checked and verified by the ground crew before boarding.
- There are extra wheelchairs on-site which you can use for the duration of the flight.
- This activity is not recommended for pregnant women over 3 months, individuals with heart problems, serious knee or back pain, those who've had major surgery in the last 6 months, or those with height phobia.
- All passengers will need to sign the declaration at the venue that he/she doesn’t have any of the health problems mentioned above.
- Plan ahead with the Dubai Balloon website's weather widget. Choose your date and time to access an accurate forecast up to three days in advance for a seamless experience.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older.
- Flights last 10 minutes. Duration may vary due to loading, offloading, and queues. Allow for potential extended time during peak periods.
- The Dubai Balloon at Atlantis official operational timings are 5:30am to 11:00am and 6:00pm to midnight till October.
- Big bags will not be permitted onboard. However, backpacks and purses will be allowed.
- Anyone under the influence of alcohol or any other drugs is strictly not allowed to fly.
